A little help from MAM
Pacifier, soother, dinkie I have heard I think a million different names for these little saviours. There are a couple of brands that I have done some research with and on company I cannot wait to use and I have heard nothing but amazing things from, from moms out there is MAM.
Everyone has to remember this is all new to me so without reading up a ton of reviews, getting help from mommy friends and contacting suppliers it’s all a different language, but I am loving every minute of it. So when I find I brand I believe in, I just feel the need to let the world know.
The toughest thing I have found is there are so many brands out there, so finding something reliable and that works for you can be difficult. Thankfully, participating in mommy forums will give you all the answers you need, for the most part.
When it comes to MAM the first thing I thought was, “okay they are great, but how do they get the proper shape and comfort level for our little ones?” Well, they work with pediatric dentists and orthodontists to develop the perfect pacifier that will hopefully put your little munchkin at ease.
These pacifier’s have a curved front and large air holes (especially compared to other pacifiers) which helps the babies comfort level and reduce the risk of skin irritation. The two MAM pacifiers that I am sticking with is MAM Perfect and MAM Night! Here are some quick facts on both!
Comes with two BPA-free pacifiers, and has the MAM Ultra Soft Silicone Nipple stays comfortably in baby’s mouth due to the anti-slip texture (so ladies you do not have to worry about getting up all the time checking if the pacifier has fallen out… or in most cases baby will you know if that happens LOL)
The symmetrical nipple ideal for baby’s jaw development with a textured surface and multiple small openings on the pacifier shield allow air to circulate and baby’s skin to breathe
And lastly, to me this is a big deal and maybe to some really minor but something a lot of companies are lacking. They come with a storage case which is reusable and can be used in the microwave to sterilize pacifiers. Personally I will say every pacifier should come with a storage case, if baby tosses it on the floor I have somewhere to store it rather than throwing it in my baby bag and having a sterilization case is amazing. This is something companies should really take more seriously.
