A perfect first travel with little humans
For parents the scariest thing to think of is travelling with your little humans. Well having two under two we weren’t going to let that stop us from having a good time and not being cooped up in our house forever. Its all about location.
Look at it like this, whether they have a tantrum at home or in a hotel room whats the difference? It might even make it more tolerable if you are somewhere and have more things to do! So we thought with Asher who was 4 months and Mason who was 21 months we packed up the boys and went to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls!
My number one thing is have a plan of things you want to do with them and if you don’t have a plan go somewhere that has a plan for you!
We stayed there two nights and it was perfect, Mason slept in the bottom bunk and they had pack n plays on site for Asher to sleep in!
When staying there we got wrist bands to get into the water park which have SO much for kids to do and life jackets for various ages on hand! Oh and that was my first meltdown from Mason, because he had to leave the water park and I am sure everyone heard him— and I didn’t care because there are a million other families there dealing with their own meltdowns that they don’t care about yours.
At 6:30 pm they have a dance party for all the kids and 7:30 pm is story time! And this goes back to what I was saying, our whole day was packed with things to do and by 8:00 pm we have the two kids down for the night and were sitting outside on our patio having some wine enjoying…. silence.
Notes: I would say that there is an LCBO down the street. The drinks there were pretty expensive, a bottle of wine thats usually $12 was $40 and 3 drinks cost us just over $30 from the water park to bring back to our room. Food is also pricey for families, the buffet is actually AMAZING but that is the only sit down area to really ate so we enjoyed that one night and went to Clifton Hill the second night to the Rainforest Cafe… Again a place to keep kids amused and quiet LOL.

They have an arcade there, on site laundry service and free parking which are HUGE savings!
Other must knows:
We stayed two nights in the Wolf Den Suite which is great because it has a separate bedroom!
I am going to have a video for you guys done up for our next trip in August with even more details about the location! This was ore a post to do something a parent needs to do to get over their free of traveling with little ones!
