“Bumping” Around So Far.
This Friday, I will be 7 months bumping along and honestly it has been a crazy and amazing ride so far. Time has honestly flown by and August feels like it’s just right around the corner- which yeah it is! Last week was the first time someone stood up for me on the subway and that was a bittersweet feeling in itself (the this just got EVEN MORE REAL feeling).
I think the hardest part of this whole 7 months thus far is everything being so new. I mean everyone that knows us know this was not a planned event (even though I know this is going to be the best thing that ever happened to us). There are so many things to learn when you’re new to pregnancy, but at the end of each day all those kicks I am feeling now throughout the day make everything that much better!
So far I have to say I have been really lucky, besides fainting a couple of times I have for the most part felt like my normal self. The worst of it now is always feeling like I haven’t slept in 3 days but I guess that’s prepping me for the long nights ahead J The worst thing I have faced is the everlasting emotional rollercoaster I feel that I am on. I cry at commercials, I was taking everything to heart… I just really wasn’t feeling like myself and I am happy for everyone that has been by my side, and happy that the devil that is pregnancy hormones are for me at least starting to get back to normal.
At the end of the day I just cannot wait for the end result… to meet our little man. Even though I hate to admit that I always wonder how anything can be cuter then our pup Kimbo!
Our nursery is coming together and I cannot wait to show you all it in the upcoming months, it’s such a weird feeling walking into what used to be our drunk friends sleepover room is now a light blue and grey room with the most perfect little crib with choo choo train bed sheets.
With my shower fast approaching I find myself constantly adding and removing things from our registry! (I mean its a little more difficult than the wedding registry, in which anything Kate Spade was a must and it was a done deal) I would like to say I am getting the hang of it, with the help of friends who are expecting and ones that already have little ones. What was once Kate Spade home owl coasters is now slow flo and medium flo teets, along with blue/grey receiving blankets and adorable little toys!
Two items that I have gotten already and cannot wait to use is the Graco Glider LX Gliding Swing in Waterloo and the matching Graco Blossom High Chair!!! I have read nothing but great reviews and have already put the glider together (which was the easiest thing EVER to assemble), and even though baby isn’t in there yet, Kimbo loved it! What I love about the high chair is that its a 4 in 1 Seating System! It converts to an infant feeding booster and I know that these products are going to be here for years to come! I cannot wait to give you guys a FULL review once this guy decides its time for him to make his appearance. But seriously, check out the Graco products because so far I am LOVING THEM!
I can only pray someone gets us the matching playard and I will be in Graco HEAVEN <3
I will be updating you guys on this whole pregnancy thing a couple times of month and would love to hear what some of you moms and moms to be have gone through also! So get ready for some really descriptive posts along with my thoughts of some more must have products we are getting along the way!
Thanks for being with me through this wild ride!
