Lips on a Budget

When it comes to makeup, it’s not about spending an arm and a leg to find the perfect product. It’s about finding something that works for you, and I have found a lipstick collection that will blow you all away with a price that will make you want to dance in the rain. My newest love and find- Essence Long Lasting Lipstick!

For the price of these little tubes you would think, how good could it be? Well, it’s pretty amazing and does the job, I will tell you that much. I found that it stayed on for at most two hours, but I don’t mind reapplying once in a while and the colours I have were true to their shade. That is my number one pet peeve, if I love a colour try it on and a company played a trick on me- I am over it.

This tube of wonderfulness is so smooth to apply and I love that is doesn’t cause colour bleeding.

The only thing I would recommend is if you have very dry lips, which I do, use a lip moisturizer underneath just to keep your lips from drying out. This being said, it’s not just this brand but with anything “long lasting” this does seem to happen.

My second lip recommendation with Essence Cosmetics is their XXXL Shine Lipgloss! This product leaves my lips feeling moisturized and I think that’s with a little help of the vitamin e in these babies! Also true to shade these glosses look amazing on their own or on top of your favourite Essence lipstick shade.

This gloss goes on smooth and doesn’t clump, it is a perfect gloss for your day to day routine. A tube that you don’t mind going through to quickly because for the price of this bad boy, you will be able to go grab another one!
