Mother’s Day Pampering with The Hazelton Hotel

With Mother’s Day around the corner what’s a better gift than giving the gift of pampering and silence? We all need a mental break don’t we? Well Renee and I got to do just that, with The Hazelton Hotel (ranked #1 on Trip Advisor FYI) giving us nothing short of an amazing experience. Hellooooo Staycationnnn!

As part of their Mother’s Day package upon your arrival you walk to your Luxury Guest Room and are greeted by an amazing flower arrangement that just puts a smile on your face… then off to the in room balcony you go to look at all things Yorkville- 620 ft room never looked so good!

Next up for the Mother’s Day experience, we were off to the spa to get a Hand Nutritive Treatment using Valmont products and a classic manicure to make you feel extra special-because, well moms, you are.

Kids free? WINE TIME! We wanted to enjoy the room so we went and got ourselves gussied up for dinner. The rooms are so stunning this is a situation where you WANT to stay in the room. I mean we were doing our makeup while watching tv (there are TVs in the mirrors)

Next on our to do list? Off to One Restaurant by celebrity chef Mark McEwan we went to stuff our faces with nothing but the best! The McEwan group blows me away every time, it just seems to get better and better. We couldn’t get enough of the Guajillo Chicken Tacos, Yellowfin Tuna and split The French Dip Burger… all while sipping on wine in dresses. Way different experience then our day to day or sweat pants and kids pulling at our legs.

What comes with moms night out?? Getting in our robes while keeping our feet warm on the heated floors in the bathroom and obviously 9:30 pm bedtime!! But, seriously not joking and it was delightful.

Next morning enjoy Signature Mother’s Day Brunch with a glass of bubbles which is the perfect way to end a perfect staycation!
