Safety 1st HD Wifi Video Baby Monitor

Most parents like complain about a lack of sleep after having kids and it’s totally true! But, what’s even more important is ensuring my little munchkins get a good night’s rest! Other than eating, sleep is my number one priority for the boys. I’m always making sure they are on a good sleep routine, but let’s be honest, there is only so much us moms can do. Well, most people wouldn’t think about this, but a great baby monitor can be a huge help! I’d like to introduce you to one of my most cherished possessions – my Safety 1st HD Wifi video baby monitor.

I never really knew what a great baby monitor was until I started using this one. The Safety 1st monitor doesn’t have a portable video monitor so all you need to do is download the app and view through your phone, which is so convenient for me. And the app does so much! One thing it allows me to do is track how my little guys are sleeping. So when Mason wakes up in the middle of the night and is moving around – it’s tracked and recorded as a motion event. Or If Asher cries out – It’s tracked and recorded as a noise event. What’s so great about this? If Asher has cried out a little bit every couple hours I will assume he will need some added sleep during his next nap. This is probably my favourite aspect of the monitor.

Since Mason and Asher are getting older they like to wander around and play in their playroom or bedrooms together, well guess what! I can still monitor them to ensure they are playing safe together and not climbing on something they shouldn’t be – Safety first! I can just cook their dinner, place my phone in front of me and monitor them. But, this wouldn’t be so easy without another amazing feature of the monitor – the camera. The picture is 720p so it’s clear as day and you can zoom as much as you need. The camera also has 130 degree super wide angle so it captures everything, which means you don’t have to constantly walk over and adjust the camera to see what’s going on.

Lastly, I can be out on date night with Luke and just open my app to check in on my boys with their sitter. Have they been put down like they’re supposed to or are they still awake playing? Then all I need to do is send a quick saying “I don’t see Mason in bed, yet?” LOL!
